Opportunity for Graduates; 8354 Assistant and Officer Vacancies in Grameen Banks

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited applications for the 8th General Examination of Officers and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) posts of 45 Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), including Kerala Grameen Bank.


There are 8354 vacancies. Office Assistant - 3674, Officer - 4680. There are 86 vacancies in the Office Assistant post in KGMB. There are vacancies in Officer III in Scale III, Scale II and Scale I. The vacancies in Information Scale II are for Information Technology, Chartered Accountant, Law Officer, Treasury Manager, Marketing Officer and Agriculture Officer.

Officer: Scale III: 21-40, Scale II: 21-32, Scale I: 18-30
Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18-28
Age is based on June 1, 2019. Reserved castes can get legal age.

Qualification
Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Degree / equivalent. Know the local language of the respective states. Computer knowledge is desirable.
Officer Scale I: Degree / equivalent. Must have knowledge of the local language. Must have computer knowledge. Preference will be given to those with a degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / Agricultural Engineering / Physical Engineering / Agricultural Marketing & Corporation / IT / Management / Law / Economics / Accountancy.
Officer Scale II :( General Banking Officer): Degree / equivalent with less than 50% marks. Preference will be given to those who have a degree in Banking / Finance / Marketing / Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / Agricultural Engineering / IT / Management / Law / Economics / Accountancy.
Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer - Information Technology / Chartered Accountant / Law Officer / Treasury Manager / Marketing Officer / Agriculture Officer): Information Technology Officer - Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / IT with a minimum of 50% marks. Degree / equivalent Certified Associateship from Chartered Accountants of India. Law officer-law degree. Certified Associateship or MBA from Treasury Manager-Chartered Accountants of India. - Finance. Marketing Officer - MBA (Marketing). Agricultural Officer - Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Dairy / Animal Husbandry / Forestry / Veterinary Science / Agricultural Engineering / Physics
Officer Scale III: Degree. Degree in Banking / Finance / Marketing / Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / Agricultural Engineering / Physics / Agricultural Marketing & Corporation / IT / Management / Law / Economics & Accountancy


Examinations: Selection will be after a two-stage written test. There will also be interviews for those applying for officer posts. The exam will be held in August. In Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Kochi, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur are the examination centers.
